Privacy policy
Heard helps you reflect on conversations. Only submit content you are entitled to process. Use aliases and remove unnecessary private information before uploading.
Information we process
Account: your Apple or Google sign-in identifier, Heard account identifier, session-token digest and expiry. For Google sign-in, we store the verified email address Google provides to identify users and for operator review; we do not automatically merge accounts by email. We do not request your name or email from Apple. Your device Keychain stores your session. Content: submitted conversation text, speaker aliases and display names, context, your self-identification, profiles, and AI reports and scores. iOS screenshots are recognized on-device. With your consent, Web screenshots are sent through Cloudflare to the Anispark vision model and may include avatars, names and sensitive information. Web images are not stored in our database; extracted text is redacted before analysis. Diagnostics: request identifiers, timestamps, status and error categories for service reliability. Infrastructure also processes information needed for network requests. Do not send complete conversations or login credentials by support email.
Purposes and recipients
We use this information for sign-in, organizing text, analysis, syncing history and profiles, deletion and troubleshooting. Cloudflare Workers, D1 and Workflows host the service.
With your explicit consent, text and necessary context are sent through our backend to the Anispark AI API. Rule-based redaction replaces some sensitive details but may not remove all identifying clues. Redaction is not complete anonymization.
The Anispark API processes conversation recognition and analysis. Anispark does not retain request content after processing.
We do not integrate advertising or cross-app advertising tracking. Depending on deployment locations, data may be processed outside your region. AI interpretations are not psychological diagnoses or objective assessments of individuals.
Retention and deletion
Raw text from recognition requests is not written to the business database. Redacted conversations, reports and profiles are retained for history until you delete them. Background tasks also retain processing data and intermediate results while running.
You can delete individual analyses or select Me → Delete account and all data. Account deletion removes associated business data, sessions and identifiable background analysis tasks, and revokes Apple authorization. Successful deletion cannot be undone; signing in again creates a new account. Requests already sent to external recipients cannot be recalled immediately; see the provider policy above.
After successful deletion, associated data is removed from the live business database. Infrastructure backups and diagnostic logs expire according to their retention periods: database recovery backups within 30 days and Workers diagnostic logs within 7 days. These copies are not used for everyday display or AI analysis.
Your choices
Every new analysis starts with an AI data-processing notice. Declining returns without uploading content for that analysis. You can edit submissions, delete records or your account, and contact us for access, correction or deletion requests.
Policy updates
We update these disclosures when data uses or recipients materially change, and obtain renewed consent when needed.
